Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and verify daily Execution Report(s).
- Prepare, check and verify daily Order Position and Portfolio and the correctness of daily orders approved by the board.
- Prepare CWI Stock Analysis Spreadsheet with proposal and recommendation(s).
- Analysis, select appropriate equities and monitor equity portfolio listed in Japan, U.S., European, China A, Hong Kong, Taiwan and South East Asia Markets.
- Conducting research and assist on managing the exposure of gold, foreign exchange, equities, put & call options and bonds.
- Prepare the following reports with recommendation(s) as indicated below:
- Daily: Special news re splits, merging, acquisitions and bankruptcies etc.; daily price variance of stocks of over 5% and above.
- Weekly: Risk assessment report:
- Monthly: Action Plan;
- Portfolio Review: Quarterly/Half Yearly/Yearly: Profit and Loss
- Timely report and update the major news from the market to the board with proposal and recommendations
- Updating of portfolio with recommendations and actions upon notification of company splits, merging, acquisitions and bankruptcy of stocks as contained in our portfolio
- Discuss with team-head and report to the investment committee on approved daily action proposal of equity option, equity trading, gold, and foreign exchange
- Night shift duty to be performed upon request(s) from the Board
- Assist on monitoring cash availability of portfolio and investment restrictions to allocate the orders appropriately to different brokers.
- Understand the structured financial product offered by the brokersand recommended the appropriate product to the board
- Interacting with the bankers and brokers and request for relevant information for research work
- Provide training materials and offer training session assignments and on -job guidance to new staff
- Complete the ad-hoc research jobs upon request
Requirements:
About our Client:Our client, a financial institution, is located in TST.- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a financial analysis role, preferably within a brokerage or investment firm.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
