Our client is a reputable contractor listed in the Register of General Building Contractors and the Lists of Public Works Contractors-Waterworks. Our client is currently undertaking a hotel renovation project in Hong Kong and is seeking a Quantity Surveyor (QS) or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their team.

Job Responsibilities

Assist the Project Manager in managing pre-tender and post-tender processes for hotel renovation works.

Prepare payment applications, variation order (VO) estimations, and submissions to clients.

Support variation submissions, assessments, and final account settlements for the hotel renovation project.

Handle contractual claims and assist in dispute resolution related to the project.

Collaborate with the Project Management Team to address contractual issues specific to hotel renovation works.

Requirements

Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

1-3 years of relevant experience in building construction or renovation projects (hotel renovation experience is a plus).

Strong numerical skills and proficiency in data analysis.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Assistant Quantity Surveyor role.

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

Monthly salary range: HKD 20,000 - HKD 28,000, commensurate with experience.

Assist in handling hotel renovation project changes, evaluation, and final account settlement.

Handling and resolving contract claims related to the project and assisting in resolving disputes.

Work with the project management team to handle contract-related issues for the hotel renovation project.

Requirements

Advanced diploma or above in quantity surveying or related disciplines.

1-3 years of building or renovation project related experience (hotel renovation experience is preferred).

Have excellent digital skills and data analysis skills.

Less experienced candidates may consider being hired as assistant quantity surveyors.

Active, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

Monthly salary range: HKD 20,000 - HKD 28,000, depending on experience.
