We are seeking a Junior Data Scientist who is passionate about artificial intelligence and biotech R&D.

You will assist the team in conducting large-scale drug-related data analysis and modeling work, supporting key R&D stages such as target discovery, lead compound screening, etc.

Core responsibilities

Data preparation and analysis: Collect, clean and organize biological experimental data, metabolomics data and structural data to ensure data quality.

Model development support: Participate in the training, testing and performance evaluation of machine learning/deep learning models for drug screening and molecular feature analysis.

Algorithm application and tool implementation: Participate in the implementation or improvement of existing algorithm modules, package the analysis process into a simple script for internal use.

Results interpretation and reporting: Generate visual analysis reports to help research teams understand model outputs, and support experimental design decisions.

Cross-team communication: Collaborate with biology and chemistry teams to understand R&D issues and convert them into data tasks.

Job Requirements

Education background:

Biophysics, structural biology, pharmacology, immunology, biochemistry and molecular biology, bioinformatics or computational biology, etc. related professional, master's degree or above.

Knowledge and skills:

Familiar with common data analysis tools (such as Python, etc.);

Understand the basic principles of machine learning or deep learning

Have some statistical analysis and data visualization skills;

Interested in biopharmaceutical R&D process, with knowledge in protein structure, target discovery, etc. fields.

Requirements:

Have experience in data analysis in course projects, internships or research;

Applicants with experience in drug development data analysis, metabolomics data processing or machine learning competitions are preferred.

Understand the basic ideas of protein sequence modeling and structure prediction;

Have experience in computational biology and informatics or molecular simulation related projects.
