<p><strong><u>Qualification Requirements</u></strong></p><p></p><p>1.A qualification recognized by the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (HKIS)<br>2.Completed a 2-year graduate training scheme recognized by the HKIS or equivalent. <br></p><p>Knowledge of and possession of experience in Geographic Information System (GIS) and application development will be advantageous. <br></p><p><strong><u>DUTES</u></strong></p><p>(1) To assist the Land Surveyor (LS) of Highways Department (HyD) in general management</p><p>of projects relating to the development and implementation of the Bunting Application</p><p>System, and provide maintenance support after the system implementation.</p><p>2) To assist LS in reviewing the position data of lighting equipment and sign gantries, which involves conducting field surveys, validating the as-built survey records, attending coordinate</p><p>meetings and refining the position data of the internal systems of HyD;</p><p>3) To assist LS in conducting GIS spatial review on the existing lamppost/road light dataset for establishing a standardized lantern naming convention system.</p><p>4) To assist the Lighting Division in preparing the revamp of HyD’s Public Lighting Information System.</p>
