Job Description:

• Assist in planning, deploying and maintaining application systems

• Gather and document user requirements in collaboration with project stakeholders

• Provide technical and user support throughout the project lifecycle, including UAT

• Troubleshoot application issues in testing and production environments

• Automate routine tasks (e.g. backup, configuration) using basic scripting tools

• Collaborate with the development teammates to resolve deployment and integration issues

• Prepare technical documents, test cases, and SI&I documents

• Create user manuals, training materials, and conduct user training sessions

Requirements:

• Higher diploma or above in IT or Computer Science related disciplines

• 4 years or above relevant experience in application support and deployment

• Experience in application deployment and support on Windows / Linus servers

• Familiarity with scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Bash) for automation and configuration

• Basic understanding of networking and server infrastructure

• Strong communication skills and team spirit to communicate with customers and internal technical teams and documentation

• Candidates with SI (System Integrator) experience or similar application deployment and support background are preferred

Technical Skills:

• Web servers - IIS, Tomcat, Apache

• Application deployment - C#, Java

• RDBMS - MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL

• Backup solutions - ArcServe, Veeam

• Scripting - Python, Perl

• Basic networking knowledge
