Job Description:

• Handle full-set document processing and operational follow-up for FCL/LCL and air import shipments destined for South China and Hong Kong.

• Issue Arrival Notices and Debit Notes to consignees and clients.

• Prepare and submit Chinese Shipping Instructions (S/I) to ocean carriers accurately and on time.

• Arrange trucking and container drayage for import and trans-shipment shipments.

• Process import declaration through Tradelink

• Handle operations on One-port systems.

• Communicate and coordinate with various parties, including:

  • Chinese factories

  • Consignees in China and Hong Kong

  • Truckers and drayage providers

  • Ocean carriers

  • Overseas branches and agents

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional etiquette in all interactions.

• Handle ad hoc operational matters and be open to job rotation as arranged by the company.

• Be available for occasional Saturday morning standby duties to handle urgent operational issues.

Requirements:

• Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in Cantonese.

  • Fluent in spoken and written Mandarin.

  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in both Chinese and English typing.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).

  • Hands-on experience with Tradelink and One-port systems is required.

  • Experience with China customs clearance procedures is required.

  • Experience with submitting Chinese S/I to ocean carriers.

• Strong customer service orientation and professional demeanor.

• Patient, cooperative, and detail-oriented approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in a logistics company or freight forwarder.

• Must have solid experience handling FCL/LCL and air import shipments with full documentation to South China and Hong Kong.

• Experience in handling project cargo is considered an advantage.
