What you will do

• Provide corporate legal support and administration for companies in Hong Kong, the UAE, Indonesia and other jurisdictions.

• Draft, review and negotiate bilingual international commercial agreements, including supply, logistics, agency and related contracts.

• Advise on cross-border transactions, contractual risks, sanctions-related considerations, conflicts of laws and director / beneficial-owner liability.

• Analyse business objectives and recommend suitable jurisdictions, legal forms and ownership structures, considering tax regimes, substance requirements, foreign-ownership restrictions and sector-specific rules.

• Draft and adapt constitutional and corporate documents: articles of association, memoranda, shareholders’ agreements, corporate policies and internal governance documents.

• Manage company incorporation and post-incorporation processes with registration authorities, corporate service providers, company secretaries, registered agents and local advisers.

• Supervise notarisation, apostille / consular legalisation, certified translations and completeness of registration documentation.

• Support tax registration, licensing, annual compliance, statutory filings, registered-office renewals and ongoing corporate maintenance.

• Prepare KYC documentation, liaise with banks and payment institutions, and support corporate bank-account opening and foreign-exchange compliance matters.

• Conduct counterparty and beneficial-owner due diligence; identify legal, regulatory and compliance risks and propose practical mitigation measures.

• Manage external lawyers, accountants, corporate service providers and other local specialists, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

• Monitor changes in foreign legislation and provide clear, business-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders.

What we are looking for

• Law degree and solid experience in corporate / international commercial law.

• English at Advanced level (C1 or above), including strong legal drafting and negotiation skills.

• Proven experience drafting contracts governed by international law and supporting cross-border transactions.

• Hands-on experience with corporate support for foreign companies, including bank-account opening, KYC processes and work with foreign advisers and corporate service providers.

• Experience preparing internal corporate and shareholder-protection documentation.

• Strong knowledge of financial regulation, compliance and risk-management principles.

• Experience in consulting or professional-services firms supporting clients operating internationally is a strong advantage.

• Knowledge of Hong Kong, UAE and/or Indonesian law is highly desirable.

• Excellent attention to detail, document-control discipline and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

• Strong communication skills, stress resilience, reliability and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
