JOB SPECIFICATION:

• Support the Assistant Manager of IT Operations in overseeing all ITD hosting services and facilities. Work locations include, but are not limited to, Chek Lap Kok Island, Border Control Facilities, Airport Tung Chung Link Stations at Tung Chung New Town, and ITC! facilities at HOK and KOW stations.

• Inventory management and documentation of newly acquired Communications Room/Cupboard (CR/CC) from project teams, such as 3RS, T2E, and T2C etc

• Act as an on-site liaison with the Technical Services Department (MEP support) to resolve incidents related to Fire Services, UPS, power supply and cooling systems within hosting facilities.

• Manage access control for works and equipment ingress or egress in CR/CC areas and ensure inventory records and dashboards are accurately updated.

• Coordinate with ITPTW administration to maintain and update rack layouts and rack space usage, reflecting the status of IT CR/CC.

• Ensure CR/CC layout plans, and rack capacity inventories are accurate and timely updated.

• Generate routine performance reports for hosting facilities and compilation of capacity planning reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Holder of Diploma/Higher Diploma/bachelor's degree in information technology, Engineering or related disciplines.

• At least five years' relevant experience supporting enterprise or institutional colocation data centres or operations centres. Familiarity with incident management process would be advantageous.

• Proven track record in managing colocation data centre access control and coordinating maintenance activities, including planning and execution.

• Extensive knowledge and practical experience in day-to-day data centre infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M), encompassing scheduled drill planning, fault handling, and emergency response procedures.

• Experience in collecting, manage and maintaining asset inventory.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with system support software tools and hand tools.

• English writing and Putonghua verbal communication skills.
