Shrewsbury International School Hong Kong opened in 2018. A primary school, we provide almost 1,000 places for children aged between 3 and 11 years old.

Key Responsibilities

The Information Technology Officer reports to the IT Manager and the Director of Business Services. The successful applicant is responsible for the effective operation of the IT function of the school.

The IT Officer will:

Provide day-to-day IT support to staff members, e.g. troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose, resolve hardware or software faults, software installation;
Provide administrative support for the IT team;
Assist supervisor in handling ad hoc project and operations related matters, e.g. coordinate with contractors for the repair and maintenance work and follow-up on progress;
has an opportunity to explore and support audiovisuals.

Professional Expectations:

The IT Officer will :

Have Information Technology diploma or related discipline;
Have 1-2 years relevant working experience, preferably in Education Sector;
Have hands on experiences on IT Infrastructure such as switches and firewall;
Have knowledge of MacOS X, iOS, and Windows Operating System. Linux familiarity is an advantage;
Demonstrate experience in backup application, VMware ESXi and Microsoft server;
Knowledge of cloud platform such as google G-suite and Microsoft O365
Be able to work independently as well as in a team;
Be able to speak fair English and fluent Cantonese.
