CEO & General Management

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Operations: Oversee daily non-investment functions including trade settlement, clearing, client onboarding, IT, HR, and vendor management.

• Investment Operations: Supervise trade execution, reconciliation, NAV calculation, fund accounting, and reporting to optimize efficiency and mitigate operational risk.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to SFC requirements (SFO, FMCC, AML/CFT); manage regulatory filings, audits, and onsite inspections.

• Strategic Leadership: Partner with the CEO to drive long-term business strategy, digital transformation, and cost-control initiatives.

• Risk & Controls: Lead Middle and Back Office teams to establish robust internal control frameworks, risk management protocols, and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).

• Fund Administration: Oversee fund structures (Master-Feeder, Onshore/Offshore), capital deployment, and the balance between KYC/AML compliance and client experience.

• Stakeholder Management: Manage operational budgets and foster cross-departmental collaboration between Investment, Legal, and Finance teams.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Law, or related fields. Professional qualifications (CFA, CPA, or CAMS) are highly preferred.

• Experience: 12–18 years in Asset Management or Investment Banking, with at least 8 years in a senior leadership role (Hong Kong market experience is essential).

• Regulatory Expertise: Deep knowledge of SFC Type 4 & 9 activities, FATF, CRS, and global fund compliance standards.

• Soft Skills: Strong leadership and change-management skills with the ability to multitask in high-pressure environments.

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with industry systems (e.g., Bloomberg, Charles River, Aladdin) and a mindset for automation/digitization.

• Languages: Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (written and spoken).
