Job Responsibilities

1) Work as a chief engineer on a high-speed passenger ship on the Hong Kong-Macau route

2) Full responsibility for operating and monitoring the normal operation of the ship's machinery and equipment on duty;

3) Supervise the mechanic to complete its related work

4) Dredge and pump room and engine operation safety;

5) Check and process the work of engine maintenance.

Position requirements

1) Diploma or above, and relevant maritime engineering professional qualifications;

3) Hold a valid "Seaman's Registry" (red book) issued by the Hong Kong Maritime Department;

5) Hold a Hong Kong Maritime Department recognized (STCW 2010) certificate for the following five small badges:

(i)Personal survival skills;

(ii) First aid

(iii) Fire training and

(iv)Personal safety and social responsibility

(v)Lifeboat operations skills

6) Priority will be given to those with high-speed ship experience.
