Environmental Engineering

<p><strong><u>Requirements</u></strong></p><p>(1)having a Diploma or Higher Certificate in subject relevant to science or engineering from a Hong Kong university/ Hong Kong polytechnic, Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education or a Hong Kong technical college or Hong Kong technical institute, or equivalent;</p><p>(2) possessing an Associate Membership of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers in a relevant discipline admitted on or after 5 December 1975;</p><p>(3) having at least twelve (12) years’ relevant working experience in project/ contract management on development or operation of large scale infrastructure, engineering projects, or waste facility projects;</p><p>(4) having experience in commissioning and operation of food waste treatment facilities is preferable;</p><p>(5) having good oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese; proficiency in Putonghua will be an advantage; </p><p>(6) having good communication and interpersonal skills; and </p><p>(7) possessing good computer knowledge including proficiency of MS Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Input Method.</p><p></p><p><strong><u>Duties</u></strong></p><p>(1)To provide operation support for the Organic Waste Treatment Facilities Phase 2;</p><p>(2) To provide support to EPD site staff on collecting trip tickets of food waste and livestock waste to the Organic Waste Treatment Facilities Phase 2 for data verification and reporting;</p><p>(3) To liaise with food waste and livestock waste producers and facilitate the delivery to the Organic Waste Treatment Facilities Phase 2</p><p>(4) To supervise and inspect organic waste collection and delivery at farms on a need basis; and </p><p>(5) To assist in any other duties as assigned by the management.</p><p></p>
