<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p><p>Join our dedicated Smoking Cessation Project supporting ethnic minorities and new immigrants in Hong Kong. As an Outreach Health Worker, you will play a crucial role in connecting with community members and promoting smoking cessation services.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Community Engagement:</strong> Build relationships with key community members and network with target groups to promote smoking cessation.</li><li><strong>Outreach Activities:</strong> Promote smoking cessation services to ethnic minorities and new immigrants through targeted outreach activities.</li><li><strong>Health Promotion Support:</strong> Assist in broader health promotion activities within the project.</li></ul><p><strong>Location:</strong> The position requires flexibility to work across multiple locations, including Tin Shui Wai, Tai Po, Kwun Tong, Jordan, and other assigned outreach locations.</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Hong Kong Certificate of Education (HKCEE) / Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) or equivalent.</li><li>Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.</li><li>Experience in a community health setting is preferred.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a diverse and multicultural environment.</li><li>Passion for community engagement.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Canva, and Photoshop is an advantage.</li><li>Excellent spoken and written English is preferred; other languages, particularly Hindi, Punjabi, or Urdu, are a significant advantage.
