Job Description
About the role :
You will be joining one of the top leading insurance company in the world, and will be working with teams located internationally and within APAC.
Job duties :
- Developing methodologies for thematic control testing and quality assurance reviews to strengthen risk governance and ensure adherence to Global Standards
- Leading the agency claw back workstream in the region-wide thematic control testing program on Distribution and Sales across nine business units in Asia
- Collaborating closely with Regional Operations Line 1B to deep dive on selected thematic control issues
- Devising test plans for quality assurance reviews on significant projects and contracts
- Assisting in the preparation of audit and Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) reviews
- Leading and managing the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) Program in Asia by working closely with local Market Risk teams on inherent risk assessments, RCSA planning, RCSA workshops, critical controls identification and providing objective assessment on RCSA output
- Maintaining risk oversight over the Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) within Asia and providing support and guidance to local Market Risk teams to ensure adherence to the Global TPRM Framework and Standard
- Coordinating risk reporting on Key Risk Indicators (KRI), discussing country and overall risk ratings with local and regional stakeholders and providing independent challenges
- Reviewing the Corrective Action Plans (CAP) closed at regional level and providing independent challenges
