Job Title: Retail bank manager

Job Overview:

This position is responsible for ensuring that the branch's daily operations comply with established rules and procedures, and for providing quality customer service. It reports simultaneously to the branch manager and the retail operations control department.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise the retail branch's counter service operations

• Responsible for the safety and maintenance of the branch

• Provide operational issues, abnormal processing and account adjustments to branch employees for guidance and training

• Assist in scheduling work hours and participate in the performance management and counseling of branch operations personnel

• Cross-selling to bank customers and promoting various financial products

Entry Requirements:

• University degree holders must have at least 5 years of relevant experience; or secondary school graduates must have at least 8 years of relevant experience, of which at least 2 years must be at a supervisory level

• Have a thorough understanding of retail branch operations and safety control

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Able to work independently under pressure

• Good writing and speaking skills in Chinese and English

• Oversee security and premises maintenance at the branch

• Provide guidance and training to branch staff on operational issues, exception handling, and adjustments

• Assist in work schedule arrangements and participate in performance management/coaching for branch operations staff

• Cross-sell banking products to customers

Requirements/Qualifications:

• University degree holder with over 5 years of relevant experience; or secondary education with over 8 years of relevant experience, of which at least 2 years must be at the supervisory level

• Thorough knowledge of retail branch operations and security control

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work independently under pressure

• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese
