<p>My client, a rapidly expanding, innovative insurance firm in Hong Kong seeking a highly skilled and experienced <strong>Product Owner</strong> to join our dynamic Digital Team. This role is pivotal in driving the evolution of our core digital platforms, ensuring we deliver maximum value to our customers and internal stakeholders.</p><p></p><p>You will be the voice of the customer and the business, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and guiding the development of digital products and features from concept to launch.</p><ul><li><strong>Product Strategy & Roadmap:</strong> Own the product backlog, defining user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritizing features, enhancements, and defects to maximize business value and align with the overall digital strategy.</li><li><strong>Stakeholder Management:</strong> Act as the primary liaison between the business, technology, and design teams, ensuring clarity and alignment on product requirements.</li><li><strong>Execution & Delivery:</strong> Work closely with cross-functional Scrum/Agile teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle, providing clear guidance and accepting/rejecting completed work.</li><li><strong>Feature Guidance:</strong> Lead scoping sessions, feature definition, and backlog refinement meetings to ensure the development team understands the 'why' and the 'what'.</li><li><strong>Performance Monitoring:</strong> Define and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform future iterations.</li></ul><p>Essential Requirements</p><ul><li><strong>Experience:</strong> A minimum of <strong>5 years</strong> of demonstrated, true experience working as a dedicated <strong>Product Owner</strong> within an Agile/Scrum environment.</li><li><strong>Digital Domain Expertise (Must have one or more):</strong> Proven knowledge and experience within one of the following key insurance/financial services domains:<ul><li><strong>Policy Management</strong> Systems</li><li><strong>Electronic Point-of-Sale (ePOS)</strong> or Digital Sales Journeys</li><li><strong>Customer Relationship Management (CRM)</strong> Systems</li><li><strong>Performance Reporting/Dashboards</strong> (e.g., using tools like Tableau, PowerBI)</li></ul></li><li><strong>Communication:</strong> <strong>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills</strong> in English (Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus), with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.</li><li><strong>Business Acumen:</strong> Strong ability to translate complex business needs and customer pain points into clear, actionable technical requirements.</li></ul>
