Major responsibilities

Verify and process payments to vendors, ensuring proper coding and allocation of expenses Prepare routines payment by cheque or arrangement of internet banking instructions

Reconcile monthly vendor and bank statement to ensure completeness of accounting records Prepare monthly accounts breakdown and schedules

Assist in month/year-end closing and liaison with auditors in year-end audit 

Requirements

Associated Degree holder, Diploma holder in Accounting or LCCI Higher Certificate.  No experience is required. Proficient in MS Office including MS Excel and Chinese /English word processing

Independent, team player, strong sense of responsibility and able to work under pressure and meet deadline

Familiar with the operation of a computerized environment, e.g. accounting software and POS systems, would be an advantage but not essential

Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese

Immediate availability is preferred
