Job Description

Purchasing and Inventory Manager

Work location: 137 Wong Nai Chung Gap Road

  • Bus 6 / 66 can directly go to Central / Admiralty

What you’ll be doing?

  • Lead and execute the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers and managing vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
  • Oversee and analyze inventory levels, collaborating with internal and external parties to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize stockouts.
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing initiatives and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of purchasing and inventory management systems.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports on purchasing trends, inventory performance, and cost savings to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and inventory management.
  • Mentor and manage the purchasing team to achieve departmental goals and foster professional development.

Who are we looking for?

  • Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in purchasing and inventory management, with a preference for experience in a private clubhouse or similar environment.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a proven track record of achieving cost savings.
  • Proficiency in ASPEN and other inventory management software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on driving results and fostering a positive team environment.
