Reporting Line: Founder of AISL; Chairman
Job Purpose:
- To provide high-level executive support to the Founder of AISL and the Chairman by managing business affairs, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist Founder of AISL and Chairman on business affairs and organization support
- Provide professional advice on matters relating to compliance/ regulations
- Liaise with business partners on project/ business progress; provide updates to Founder of AISL and the Chairman prior to decision-making meetings
- Participate in business development due diligence, research and analysis as appropriate
- Carry out regular and continual review of emails, phone calls, and other forms of correspondence and then identify the appropriate follow-up action and flag important and urgent items for Founder of AISL and Chairman’s attention.
- Prepare comprehensive travel itineraries and contact lists specific to each trip and orchestrate all necessary arrangements
- Coordinate logistics for special business events/meetings; help locate and obtain information & resources; anticipate and prepare materials as needed
- Translate business correspondence from English to Chinese and vice versa
Coordinates internal and external business meetings and agendas
- Business travel is expected
- Assists in other ad-hoc assignments as needed.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, International Relations, Education or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a similar role, such as executive assistant, business advisor, or compliance officer, preferably in a corporate and international business environment or education sector
- Experience in liaising with senior executives (e.g., Founders, Chairmen, or C-suite executives) and managing high-level business affairs
- Prior experience in cross-cultural business environments and working with international partners is highly desirable
- Experience in travel coordination and logistics management for senior executives
- Knowledge of business operations, strategic planning, and decision-making processes.
Familiarity with office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, and communication platforms)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing correspondence, travel arrangements, and business materials
- Ability to anticipate challenges, identify solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure
- Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken) is essential, with proven translation skills
- Willing to travel for business purposes
