Library Manager

Job Requirements
1. Have at least 12 years of relevant work experience.
2. Familiar with the global emerging trends and realities of academic libraries, information technology, and academic exchange.
3. Applicants with library creation, renovation or new construction project experience are preferred; familiar with the application and supervision of library information systems, and with library website development and maintenance capabilities.

Duties include:
1. According to the school's professional settings and teaching and research needs, combined with the library's resource construction planning and annual budget, formulate resource procurement principles and standards, and plan the annual resource procurement work plan and process.
2. Refer to the relevant standards of the Ministry of Education, and work closely with user departments to determine the types and quantities of paper and electronic books, journals and magazines to be purchased.
3. Responsible for the specific execution of the library collection resources procurement plan, participating in the resource procurement bidding process, and ensuring the smooth implementation of the procurement contract.
4. Communicate with domestic book import and export suppliers to implement the purchase and acceptance of Chinese and foreign language books, journals, data, CDs and other documentary resources.
5. Contact the university library and government agencies, publishing import and distribution units according to national regulations, and plan the customs clearance and review process of overseas book donations.
Coordinate and plan the purchase and construction of library databases, management systems and related information retrieval platforms, and be responsible for their subsequent operation and maintenance.
Deploy library website and mobile applications, and promote the implementation of intelligent library services.
Collaborate with campus development and facilities management departments to jointly plan the construction and equipment configuration of the library.
Complete other related tasks at the library.
