As a Principal-level consultant with at least 15 years of relevant experience, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and consultative skills to deliver value-added insights and solutions to our clients. A key part of this role will be developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, as well as bringing in new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor to life insurance clients, providing strategic guidance on a wide range of actuarial and business challenges.
• Lead complex actuarial modeling, pricing, and risk management projects for clients.
• Develop innovative solutions to help clients optimize their operations, improve profitability, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, preparing proposals and presentations to win new clients.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our services remain cutting-edge.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience as an actuarial consultant in the life insurance industry.
• Demonstrated track record of providing high-level strategic advisory services to clients.
• Proficiency in business-level Japanese, both written and verbal.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable insights.
• Experience leading and growing client relationships, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
• Strong consultative and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and provide innovative solutions.
• Experience mentoring and developing junior actuarial professionals.
