Purchasing Engineer - Shenzhen

Duties include:

1. Responsible for the purchase of raw materials, parts and equipment required by the company's production, ensuring the quality, delivery date and lowest cost of the purchased goods
2. Develop, evaluate and manage suppliers, establish and maintain long-term stable supplier relationships;
3. Participate in the negotiation, signing and execution of procurement contracts, ensure that the contract terms are in line with the company's interests;
4. Track market trends, analyze price trends, develop and optimize purchasing strategies;
5. Work closely with R&D, production and other departments to ensure that procurement requirements match the product technical requirements;
6. Regularly visit supplier factories for on-site inspections, meetings, and quality control;
7. Frequent trips to Hong Kong to have face-to-face communication and collaboration with the team;
8. Solve problems that arise in the procurement process to ensure efficient supply chain operations;
9. Complete other related tasks assigned by the supervisor.
   
   

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or above, mechanical engineering, materials science, industrial engineering or Relevant professional background;
2. 6 years of procurement or supply chain related work experience, those with automotive seat, rail seat or related industry experience are preferred;
3. Familiar with procurement process, supply chain management and contract law related knowledge;
4. Familiar with Chinese and international quality control systems;
5. Have strong negotiation skills, communication and coordination abilities, and cost control awareness;
6. Proficient in using office software and ERP systems;
7. Have good English communication skills, able to communicate smoothly with international teams;
8. Able to adapt to frequent business trips, including to Hong Kong and other cities;
9. Work seriously and responsibly, with good professional ethics and team spirit.
