Job Responsibilities

• Source and Develop fabrics and trims, with a focus on raw materials : knit and yarns (Sweaters),to support seasonal fashion apparel collections

• Conduct fabric research, sampling, and testing to ensure quality, performance, and alignment with design concepts

• Collaborate closely with the Headquarters fabric team to ensure timely sampling submission, delivery, and testing

• Coordinate with overseas mills and suppliers on lead times, costing, and technical specifications of knit materials

• Utilize fashion CAD software (e.g., CLO, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, FLEX) for design simulation and digital swatch presentations

• Support merchandising tasks including line sheet preparation, BOM compilation, and cross-functional communication with design, sourcing, and production departments

• Maintain daily updates in internal systems

• Maintain accurate daily updates in internal systems

• Assist senior staff in managing day-to-day operations related to fabric and trim sourcing

• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management

• Diploma or above in Fashion Design, Textile Science, Merchandising, or related discipline

• 1–5 years of hands-on experience in knit fabric and yarn sourcing and development within the fashion textile and apparel industry

• Fresh graduate with fashion 3DCAD applications knowledge and passionate in materials development are welcome to apply

• Practical experience in garment trim sourcing is an advantage

• Previous working experience in fabric mill and/ or sourcing office is an advantage

• Strong knowledge of textile production processes, knit fabric structures, yarns, finishing techniques, and performance properties

• Proficiency in industry-standard fashion 3DCAD applications (e.g. CLO, Photoshop, Illustrator, FLEX, Browzwear) is preferred

• Solid computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Excellent verbal and written Cantonese and English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus, for effective internal coordination and external supplier communication

• Strategic thinker with innovative mindset, strong communication skills, and a collaborative spirit.

• Must be a Hong Kong permanent resident eligible to work without visa sponsorship

• Willingness to travel overseas occasionally

• Immediate and short notice period is preferred
