Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily management, deployment, monitoring and maintenance of the database system, ensuring its stable and efficient operation

• Continuously monitor database performance, analyze slow queries and resource bottlenecks, and execute query optimization, index adjustment, and parameter tuning

• Plan and execute regular data backups, restore tests, and disaster recovery drills to ensure data integrity and business continuity

• Implement database security policies, including user access control, sensitive data encryption, access log auditing, and compliance checks

• Cooperate with the development and operation team to conduct SQL review, data model evaluation, and pre-release verification

• Write and update database operation manuals, standard operating procedures (SOP), and knowledge documents

• Secondary School Diploma or above, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields preferred

• Proficient in at least one mainstream database system such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server

• Have SQL writing and optimization skills, and master execution plan analysis, statistical information management, and performance monitoring tools

• Understand data backup and recovery mechanisms (such as mysqldump, RMAN, SQL Server Backup), high availability architectures (such as master-slave replication, RAC, Always On) are especially good

• Have basic security awareness, be able to implement user privilege separation, password policy setting, and common vulnerability prevention

• Able to communicate in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin on a daily basis; have good file writing and cross-departmental collaboration skills

• Working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, office work mode

• Monthly salary HKD 35,000 – 50,000 (depending on experience and ability, up to HKD 53,000)
