As a Logistics Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and compliant movement of goods across borders. You will be responsible for:
Handling comprehensive shipment arrangements and all related shipping documentation.
Preparing shipping orders for forwarders to ensure on-time delivery and monitoring suppliers’ delivery status.
Issuing and sending shipping documents to customers.
Checking and verifying forwarders' and other logistics-related invoices , and inputting data into the FOB cost system while cross-checking for accuracy.
Ensuring all shipments comply with the Customs Requirements of the Consignees , including performing 10+2 declarations for US customs.
Preparing Import/Export declarations , following up on missing declarations , and applying for necessary licenses, including those for Semiconductor (IC, Sukkiri Scheme) and pre-classification to TID.
Supporting and cooperating with the Team Leader on cost-saving activities and new projects.
Assisting the Manager and Department Head with various tasks, including new projects, ad-hoc assignments, month-end/year-end closing monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
skills & experiences required.
Form 6 education or above.
3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in logistics.
Possess strong knowledge of Import/Export documents and familiarity with China customs and business practices.
Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Japanese speaking is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiar with Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrate good communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to undertake business trips as required.
Immediate availability is preferred.
