Role Description

This is a full-time Writer/Editor role based in Hong Kong SAR, with flexible working arrangements allowing for work-from-home opportunities. The Writer/Editor will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality content for Tinkerer's children's STEAM magazines. The ideal candidate will craft engaging stories, activities, and educational materials, ensuring they align with the company’s mission to inspire children through science, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. Duties include generating creative ideas, proofreading, collaborating with the design team, and contributing to content planning and strategy.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Writing, Creative Writing, and Editing for educational and engaging content

• Experience in Content Strategy, Proofreading, and attention to detail in ensuring accuracy and clarity

• Understanding of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) concepts tailored for children

• Strong Research skills to create accurate and innovative educational materials

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with a cross-functional team

• Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

• Experience in publishing or creating content for children is a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a STEM related field preferred
