Job Description

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support the high-profile launch of a new digital Loyalty Program. This role is ideal for an "all-rounder" who can combine technical user acceptance testing with a marketing mindset to ensure a seamless mobile experience for retail customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End App Testing & UAT: Conduct comprehensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across iOS and Android platforms for the new loyalty mobile app. You will validate key journeys including registration, points earning/redemption, QR code scanning, and rewards functionality.

  • Defect Management: Systematically identify, document, and track software bugs, UX inconsistencies, and content errors. You will support multiple testing cycles, including critical regression testing, prior to the official launch.

  • User Experience (UX) Advocacy: Review the application from a "real-world" shopper’s perspective. You will evaluate navigation flow and in-app messaging, providing actionable recommendations to improve user-friendliness for a diverse demographic.

  • Marketing Documentation & User Guides: Develop step-by-step user manuals and frontline training materials. You will create clear instructions with screenshots, prepare FAQs, and serve as the subject matter expert on app functionality for internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Technical Experience: Proven hands-on experience in mobile app testing or User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You should be highly familiar with both iOS and Android environments.

  • Loyalty Program Expertise: Experience using or managing shopping mall apps, loyalty programs, or lifestyle mobile applications is highly preferred.

  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain app processes clearly in simple, user-friendly language for manuals and troubleshooting content.

  • Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail with structured documentation skills to ensure a smooth transition from the web platform to the mobile app.

Preferred Attributes

  • Sector Knowledge: Experience in retail, shopping mall, CRM, or loyalty programs is highly advantageous.

  • Content Creation: Prior experience preparing user manuals, "how-to" guides, or training materials.

  • Technical Awareness: A basic understanding of mobile app development lifecycles or release cycles.
