Job Overview

Lead overall daily operation and management of the organoid and cell laboratory, oversee CRO service delivery, manage internal R&D and technology platform development, and lead the team from technical innovation to clinical and industrial translation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Laboratory Operations & Management

• Manage daily lab operations: equipment maintenance, reagent and supply procurement, environmental safety, SOP implementation and quality control.

• Oversee full-cycle CRO projects: client communication, project design, experiment execution, data analysis and report delivery.

• Recruit, train and lead the technical team; optimize resource allocation and improve team efficiency.

• Establish and improve standardized SOPs and quality systems (ISO/GLP) to ensure data traceability and reproducibility.

1. Technology Platform Development

• Develop and optimize automated organoid culture systems using liquid handling and high-content imaging for high-throughput and standardized production.

• Build organoid-based drug screening, efficacy and toxicity evaluation platforms for CRO services and internal R&D.

• Develop organoid‑on‑chip and multi‑organ co-culture systems for more physiologically relevant drug evaluation models.

1. R&D and Translation

• Establish organoid models for aging-related diseases (heart, liver, brain, skin, etc.) and conduct anti-aging drug screening and evaluation.

• Develop precision medicine solutions using organoid drug sensitivity testing; collaborate with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and authorities to participate in industry standards.

• Cooperate with academic institutions and KOLs, apply for national and provincial research grants, and publish high-level papers and patents.

Requirements

1. Education & Experience

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Developmental Biology, Tissue Engineering, Aging Biology or related fields.

• 5–10 years of working experience, including 2–3 years of direct organoid experience, with team or project management experience.

1. Core Competencies

• Proficient in constructing various organoid models (tumor, normal tissues, aging, organ-on-chip, iPSC differentiation).

• Experienced in organoid-based drug efficacy and toxicity testing for liver, heart, kidney, brain, intestine and other organs.

• Familiar with automated liquid handling, high-content imaging, and high-throughput screening in 96/384-well formats.

• Strong team leadership, project management and cross-organization communication skills.

1. Preferred Qualifications

• First-author high-impact SCI papers (IF >8 or top journals).

• Experience in aging organoid models and cellular senescence analysis.

• Clinical translation experience in organoid drug sensitivity testing.

• Knowledge of PK/PD, antibody/ADC drug development, AI-assisted organoid analysis, CRISPR, live-cell imaging.

• Overseas background; fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English.
