We are a boutique SFC type 4/9 licensed asset management firm based in Hong Kong with 50mio USD asset under active management. We manage assets through a single fund focused on investments in the Hong Kong and China markets, serving professional investors from these regions. With a very small, dedicated team and flat hierarchy, we prioritize compliance, integrity, and excellence in our operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team in Hong Kong. This entry-level role provides hands-on experience in financial and compliance operations within a regulated environment. You will report directly to the board and Chief Investment Officer (CIO), contributing to the accuracy and compliance of our financial activities.

You will be on a track to obtain 4/9 representative first, and grow into a 4/9 type Responsible Officer.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain accurate financial records for the firm and fund, including preparation of statements in line with relevant standards.

- Support periodic financial closings, reconciliations, and compliance filings with regulators such as the SFC and Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA).

- Handle routine accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, expense management, and audit support.

- Perform financial analysis and data management to aid fund operations.

- Client and counter-party KYC

- Engage in compliance-related tasks, with training provided to develop expertise in SFC regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Basic understanding of accounting principles; professional qualifications in progress are a plus.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small-team setting.

- Excellent English communication skills; Mandarin/Cantonese proficiency preferred.
