We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Operations Supervisor to lead and optimize our daily freight forwarding and logistics operations in Hong Kong. Reporting directly to senior management, you will oversee end-to-end Air/Ocean freight operations, lead the operations team, drive process efficiency, and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the daily operations team (Air/Ocean Freight, Documentation, and Customer Service) to ensure smooth end-to-end workflow and high accuracy.

• Process Optimization:

  • Review, streamline, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency, reduce errors, and maintain strict service standards.

• Vendor & Partner Management:

  • Negotiate rates and allocations with ocean carriers, airlines, co-loaders, and trucking vendors to maximize cost-efficiency and profit margins.

• Issue Resolution & Escalation:

  • Act as the final escalation point for complex operational issues, customs delays, or high-level customer complaints, providing quick and effective solutions.

• Compliance & Performance Control:

  • Ensure full compliance with local and international trade/shipping regulations; track key performance indicators (KPIs) for internal team performance and service quality.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years of solid operational experience in Freight Forwarding / 3PL, with at least 2–3 years in a team management or supervisory role.

• Industry Expertise: Deep knowledge of Air/Ocean Freight (Import/Export), customs clearance, and global supply chain operations.

• Software Skills: Proficiency in logistics software / TMS (experience with Pro2 System is a strong advantage) and MS Excel.

• Language Skills: Excellent command of English and Cantonese; fluent Mandarin is preferred.

• Leadership & Soft Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, crisis management, and decision-making skills.
