This role is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of IoT sensor deployments—from on-site installation and calibration to ongoing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. As a field-facing technician, you’ll ensure our smart devices remain reliable, secure, and delivering the data insights that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and configure a variety of IoT sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, motion, etc.) at client sites
• Calibrate devices to meet specified accuracy and performance standards
• Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and health checks to maximize device uptime
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues, replacing components or updating configurations as needed
• Collaborate with cloud and network engineers to integrate sensor data into central monitoring platforms
• Maintain detailed documentation of installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and incident resolutions
• Provide end-user training on operation and basic troubleshooting of IoT devices

Main responsibilities:

• Install and configure various Internet of Things sensors (temperature, humidity, pressure, motion, etc.) on the customer's site.
• Calibrate equipment to meet the specified accuracy and performance standards.
• Perform daily maintenance, firmware updates, and health checks to maximize device uptime.
• Diagnose and repair hardware and software issues, and replace components or update configurations as needed.
• Collaborate with cloud and network engineers to integrate sensor data into a central monitoring platform.
• Maintain installation, configuration, maintenance activities and event resolution solutions in detailed files.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Form 5 graduated/DSE or equivalent
• willingness to travel regularly to customer sites
• Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
• Familiarity with common tools for installation of sensors
• Valid driver’s license will have an advantage
• Basic programming or scripting ability (e.g. Python, Node.js, or similar) will have an advantage

Qualifications:

• At least hold a Form 5 graduation certificate/DSE or equivalent academic qualifications.
• Need to regularly visit customer sites.
• Able to read and understand circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals fluently.
• Familiar with common sensor installation tools.
• Preference will be given to those with valid driver's licenses.
• Applicants with basic programming or script writing skills (such as Python, Node.js, or similar languages) will be given priority.
