Job Title: Paralegal – Litigation & Compliance Focus

Job Description:

We are seeking to appoint a highly specialized Paralegal to support our litigation and corporate compliance practice. This role demands a unique combination of legal qualifications, multilingual capabilities, and cross-sectoral experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and drafting of legal documents including pleadings, statements of claim, and defence submissions for complex civil and commercial litigation.
• Conduct legal research and case analysis, particularly in cross-border matters involving Mainland China and international jurisdictions.
• Support contract review and compliance risk identification for corporate clients, including multinational enterprises.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and legal risk mitigation.
• Prepare client meeting materials and manage case documentation in accordance with firm protocols.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Holder of PRC Legal Professional Qualification Certificate.
• Proven experience in both law firm and corporate environments, with a strong track record in litigation support, contract review, and compliance advisory.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-value tender processes and legal risk assessments in construction and manufacturing sectors.
• Exceptional English communication and drafting skills, with the ability to handle legal documents and business negotiations in English.
• Experience in international client engagement, including successful product promotion and relationship management with clients.
• Strong technical background in information systems and data analysis, with hands-on experience in backend development and legal tech platforms.
