OptiHK Limited is a fabless design house for silicon photonic integrated circuits and modules . Our mission is to create silicon photonics system-on-chip products and modules that will empower companies to develop advanced compact systems, improving performance beyond what can be achieved with conventional microelectronics or bulk optical systems.

Role Description

As a member of the core R&D team, you will be engaged in the design of analog and mixed-signal circuits for advanced optoelectronic sensing systems.

1.System Scheme and Architecture:

• Define technical specifications and interfaces for key modules (such as analog front-end, precision drivers, power management), and collaborate closely with the optics and algorithm teams.

2.Analog Front-End Circuit Selection and Design:

• Responsible for designing high-performance, low-noise, high-gain readout circuits for photodetector arrays or various types of weak-signal sensors.

3.Precision Driver and Control Circuit Design:

• Responsible for designing driver and control circuits for precision optoelectronic devices in the system.

4.Hardware System Development and Verification:

• Complete the schematic design and PCB layout of the hardware system.
• Proficient in using circuit design EDA tools, with experience in PCB design and soldering.
• Responsible for the debugging, testing, and verification of hardware circuit boards, and for writing test reports and technical documentation.

Qualifications

1.Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor's degree (with relevant experience in electronic design competitions) or a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Automation, Physics, or related majors, with experience in high-performance analog or mixed-signal circuit design.

2.Bonus Points:

• Possess a solid and profound theoretical foundation in analog circuits.
• Experience in the selection and system design of low-noise, high-precision analog front-end circuits.
• Experience in the selection, evaluation, and application circuit design of ADCs/DACs.
• Proficient in at least one mainstream PCB design software, with the ability to design multi-layer, high-speed, or high-density mixed-signal PCBs.
