Responsibilities

• Support senior management on external affairs & community services;

• Attend community services and related activities with senior management;

• Coordinate with departments for submission of reports, documents, comments and feedback;

• Liaise with other stakeholders including but not limited to NGOs, government departments, Chinese & Christian organizations, etc.;

• Responsible for preparing official correspondences, translation, meeting agendas, minutes and related documents and related briefing sessions;

• Conduct research on social, public policies or other related issues; assist in data collection and database updating;

• Provide support in proposal & report writing to funding bodies;

• Work with the team to develop and maintain donor relationships for fund development, including but not limited to high net worth donors;

• Prepare speeches and presentations, with senior management or independently;

• Provide secretarial services to senior management;

• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Sociology, Language Studies or related disciplines;

• At least 3 years of relevant working experience in serving senior management, preferably in NGO, with China related experience;

• Strong understanding of social issues and sense of social concern;

• Familiar with MS Office

• High proficiency in spoken and written Chinese, English, and Mandarin;

• Good analytical and presentation skills;

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to multitask, willing to work under pressure and independently;

• Willing to travel to China;

• Immediate available is highly preferred.
