Project Management Assistant ( Banking )

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain technology risk management frameworks, polices, and procedures.

• Conduct risk assessments and control reviews across IT infrastructure, applications on routine and ad-hoc projects.

• Promote awareness of technology risk and foster a strong risk culture across the organization.

• Prepare risk and compliance reports and dashboards for senior management and governance committee.

• Co-ordinate the regulatory examination and internal/external audit and monitor the status of the rectification.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, risk management or related discipline.

• IT experience professional in banking sector is preferred. Eligible fresh graduate will be considered

• Good understanding of IT controls, technology risk management frameworks, and regulatory expectations in banking sector. Relevant regulatory knowledge in Mainland China and Southeast Asia is an advantage.

Position name: Project Management Assistant

• Conduct risk assessment and control reviews on IT infrastructure and application systems in regular and temporary projects to ensure compliance and business resilience.

• Promote technology risk awareness, through training, communication and cross-departmental collaboration, to establish and strengthen a risk-based culture within the organization.

• Prepare technology risk and compliance reports and management dashboard, regularly report to senior management and governance committees, and support decision-making.

• Coordinate regulatory inspections and internal/external audits, follow up on the progress of audit findings, and ensure timely implementation of improvement measures.

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, risk management or related sciences; those with banking IT-related work experience are preferred, and fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.

• Familiar with IT governance mechanisms, technology risk management frameworks (such as ISO 27001, NIST, COBIT), and understand the banking supervision requirements (especially the relevant regulations in Mainland China and Southeast Asia) are especially good.

• Have 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience, be able to handle risk assessment, report preparation, and cross-unit coordination tasks independently.

• Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin, with excellent written and oral communication skills, able to clearly convey risk information to different levels of stakeholders.

• Must be a permanent resident of Hong Kong, and can start work immediately; working hours are 9 am to 6 pm on Monday to Friday, with an office work mode.
