Job Description

Your Role

  • You will be responsible for SFC RA 13 license application and implementation, managing trustee services for SFC-authorized funds, and developing the related IT system.

Responsibilities

  • Project-manage the SFC RA 13 license application and coordinating with internal stakeholders, regulators and external consultants.
  • Implementation of trustee services for SFC-authorized funds including the establishment of workflows, compliance framework and business plan.
  • Manage day-to-day trustee operation, ensuring proper oversight of fund operation and adherence to SFC Codes and Guidelines, regulations and trust deed requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT team and vendors to develop or enhance IT system to support trustee function and clients’ requirements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with fund managers, administrators, custodians, regulators and other service providers.
  • Oversee compliance and risk management for Custodian Team.
  • Perform ad hoc projects or assignments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in finance, business administration or a related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in trustee services.
  • Representative of SFC RA 13 is highly preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO), SFC Codes and Guidelines, and trust laws.
  • Sound knowledge of fund structures such as unit trust, mutual fund, OFC and other investment products.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, investors, and internal stakeholders
  • Fluent in written and spoken Putonghua, English and Cantonese.
