Position Summary
Union Registrars Limited is seeking a meticulous and client-focused Client Service Officer to join our front-line team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service at our client counter, acting as a key ambassador for the firm. This role is responsible for the precise execution of client transactions and inquiries related to share registry services, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities
Front-Line Client Servicing:
- Act as the primary interface for clients, delivering a professional and positive service experience for all counter-based interactions.
- Address and resolve a wide range of client inquiries regarding shareholding matters, corporate events, and account administration with accuracy and efficiency.
- Proactively identify client needs to enhance service delivery and foster long-term client relationships.
Transaction Processing & Operations:
- Execute client transactions with a high degree of accuracy, including the handling of payments, processing of invoices, and issuance of receipts.
- Manage the intake and processing of documentation for corporate events and other registry-related activities, ensuring completeness and compliance.
- Collaborate with key internal business lines to facilitate seamless end-to-end processing of client requests and ad-hoc operational tasks.
Compliance & Administration:
- Maintain meticulous and organized records of all client transactions and interactions in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of operational procedures to ensure all tasks are performed independently and effectively.
Candidate Profile
Experience:
- A minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in a counter service or client-facing role within the banking, finance, or related sectors.
- Mandatory experience in processing financial transactions (invoices, payments, receipts).
- Demonstrated knowledge of shareholding services or corporate actions is highly desirable.
Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong client-centric mindset.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Must be fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese word processing is essential.
Education:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
