Senior Interior Designer (Residential Development project)

Employer:

Our client is a Hong Kong-based design studio specializing in luxury residential, hospitality, and mixed-use projects across Hong Kong and the APAC region.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Design Principal to direct high-end residential development projects from initial briefing through to final site delivery.

• Formulate creative spatial narratives, mood concepts, and comprehensive presentation decks for client pitches.

• Oversee the production of detailed architectural drawing sets, technical construction details, and full FF&E specifications.

• Lead multi-disciplinary coordination with external project teams, including developers, structural/MEP consultants, contractors, and specialized vendors.

• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure construction quality aligns with design intent, resolve technical variations, and guide junior designers.

Requirements:

• Qualified in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline with a solid design portfolio.

• 5+ years of solid experience handling luxury residential or premium hospitality/commercial projects (prior HK residential development experience is highly regarded).

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong technical grasp of construction detailing and material application.

• Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Cantonese.

• Openness to incorporating modern AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, rendering/workflow enhancers) into the daily creative process is a major plus.
