Resort Hotel Manager – Senior/Executive Level

The ideal candidate requires exceptional leadership skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to effectively manage operations in a fast-paced and luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive a great working environment for teams to thrive – connect departments to create sense of one team
• Work closely with other executive team members in achieving hotel's goals and objectives
• Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotel and resort
• Oversee the day-to-day operations and assignments of the hotel staff; provide regular direction and insight and drive all departmental strategies and goals
• Establishing and maintaining hotel and resort standards in order to achieve and maintain the "Luxury" status
• Review guest feedback regularly and implement strategies for continuous improvement
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, team members and hotel assets in compliance with the hotel’s or owner’s policies and procedures and regulatory requirements
• Maintain relations with outside contacts and interact in courteous and professional manner with all guests, associates and community members

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Hotel Administration or Hospitality Management or related disciplines
• A minimum of 10 years’ relevant working experience in a hospitalityindustry with priorexperience in managing health center, golf course, restaurants and resort hotel. Experience in international brand sizeable luxury hotel and with overseas working experience and horizon is required.
• Experience in establishing working relationships with senior executives and other leaders of organizations, with at least 3 years in senior management role.
• Highly organized and professional with exceptional customer service and presentation skills
• Present with strong entrepreneurial style, excellent people skills and business acumen.
• Be able to apply highly customer-orientated standards to lead and motivate operations teams.
• A thorough and solid knowledge of hotel’s operating policies, standards and daily operation is expected.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin
• Need to station in Guangzhou, China
