JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for implementing the Company’s policy on occupational safety and health, and ensuring the site safety standards are met;

• Establish and monitor the site safety management system in accordance with legal and contractual requirements;

• Prepare safety and health promotion programme and arrange the project to participate external safety and health campaign;

• Develop in-house rules to suit the ongoing site construction activities;

• Review method statements and conduct risk assessments and make corresponding recommendations;

• Use of 4S system to implement and monitor the expiry dates of the safety permits;

• Conduct safety and health training;

• Conduct accident/incident investigations, carrying out analysis, identify root causes and trends, and make recommendations;

• Manage and lead the site safety team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Construction Engineering or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications;

• Registered Safety Officer is a must;

• Registered Safety Auditor is a must;

• Experience in MTR Project is a MUST;

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in civil projects / building projects, 3 years of which at the safety manager level.

• Excellent in communication and interpersonal skills;

• Good command of written and spoken in English and Cantonese.
