Job Description
~ 5-10 years relevant experience in garment industry
~Reading and interpreting design sketches to understand the product requirements
~Creating initial patterns using by hand
~Conducting fittings and adjustments on prototypes of their designs
~Working closely with designers and tailors to understand the design concept
~Making adjustments to the size and style of the pattern based on feedback
~Grading patterns into different sizes while maintaining the original design proportions
~Maintaining accurate records of each pattern for future use
~Ensuring that the final pattern is practical and can be used to produce the design efficiently
