Key Responsibilities
Sponsorship Sales & Revenue Development
• Identify and secure sponsorship and partnership opportunities across events, entertainment properties, and experiential platforms.
• Develop compelling sponsorship packages that align brand objectives with audience engagement, marketing exposure, and commercial outcomes.
• Lead discussions and negotiations with sponsors, agencies, and brand partners.
• Deliver sponsorship revenue through new partner acquisition and expansion of existing relationships.
Strategic Partnership Development
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate sponsors, marketing agencies, and brand decision-makers.
• Identify opportunities for long-term partnerships that extend across multiple events and platforms.
• Develop tailored partnership proposals that address the marketing objectives of prospective sponsors.
Commercial Strategy
• Contribute to the development of the organisation’s sponsorship and partnership strategy across sports, entertainment, and cultural initiatives.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends to identify emerging partnership opportunities.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure sponsorship opportunities are effectively integrated into event planning and marketing initiatives.
Event & Brand Activation
• Collaborate with marketing and event teams to design and deliver high-quality sponsor activations.
• Support the development of premium experiences including VIP hospitality programmes, branded experiences, and corporate engagement initiatives.
• Ensure sponsorship deliverables are executed in accordance with contractual commitments.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders including event organisers, rights holders, venue operators, and relevant governing bodies.
• Represent the organisation in discussions with sponsors, agencies, and industry partners.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sports Management, Event Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sponsorship sales, brand partnerships, or commercial business development.
• Demonstrated track record of securing sponsorship or partnership revenue.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to structure compelling commercial proposals and close partnership agreements.
• Strong organisational and project management capabilities.
• Experience within sports, entertainment, festivals, or live events is highly desirable.
