We are seeking a seasoned Technical Team Lead to oversee the Hong Kong development team, responsible for system design and architecture in the Currency–USDT–USD/RMB conversion flow. This role requires cross-regional collaboration with our R&D Team and internal compliance/product divisions. The candidate will lead end-to-end development — from payment gateway integration and FX conversion modules to blockchain-based remittance and liquidity reconciliation.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><ul><li>Lead the development team in Hong Kong, managing developers across product, KYC, HK mobile payment and compliance modules.</li><li>Architect and deliver cross-border currency conversion systems (Currency ↔ USDT ↔ USD/RMB).</li><li>Coordinate with overseas R&D team to ensure seamless integration of payment APIs, wallets, and settlement flows.</li><li>Oversee system security, KYC/AML compliance, and audit readiness.</li><li>Design and implement microservice architecture (Node.js / Golang / Python) and maintain robust API gateway performance.</li><li>Collaborate with compliance and finance departments to implement transaction monitoring and liquidity management tools.</li><li>Mentor engineers and enforce agile SDLC and DevOps best practices.</li><li>Drive innovation in mobile payment solutions as part of the broader payment ecosystem</li></ul><br>Preferred Background<br><ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Financial Technology.</li><li>7–10 years in software development, with at least 3 years in team leadership within fintech or cross-border payment systems. </li><li>Proven track record in leading projects experience involving FX remittance, payment gateways, or stablecoin/crypto-to-fiat settlement. Comfortable with stablecoin/wallet integration (Web3/ethers.js), key management, address whitelisting.</li><li>Strong background in handling cross-border payment infrastructure.</li><li>Familiar with FATF, HKMA and VARA frameworks.</li><li>Proficient in Python, Golang, and Node.js; experience in React/Vue, SQL/NoSQL, and blockchain integration (e.g., Web3.js, ethers.js). Expert in Java/Spring Boot or Go/Node; strong in API design, concurrency, distributed systems, Kafka/RabbitMQ, RDBMS + NoSQL </li><li>Knowledge of Web3 wallets, smart contract risk, and transaction traceability tools (e.g., Chainalysis).</li><li>Relevant certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect / PMP / Certified Blockchain Professional / CAMS (for compliance understanding).</li><li>Excellent cross-cultural communication; ability to coordinate between Overseas and Hong Kong teams.</li><li>Fluent English and Mandarin, proficiency in Cantonese is a plus.</li></ul>
