Responsible for hardware testing of interrogator and FBG products, covering test planning, product validation, field deployment and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities / Main Responsibilities

• Design hardware test plans and write test cases for interrogator and FBG products. Responsible for designing hardware test plans and writing test cases for interrogator and FBG products.

• Use oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers, optical power meters and signal generators to test functionality, performance and reliability.

• Perform verification at each product stage and prepare professional test reports. Responsible for testing and verification at each stage of the product and preparing professional test reports.

• Identify abnormalities, analyze root causes with R&D and drive corrective actions to closure.

• Build and maintain test platforms, optimize processes and improve test coverage and efficiency.

• Develop test SOPs and inspection standards.

Requirements / Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in optoelectronic engineering, electronic information engineering, measurement and control technology, instrumentation, or a related discipline.

• Proficient in oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers, optical power meters, signal generators and similar instruments. Proficient in oscilloscopes, optical spectrum analyzers, optical power meters, signal generators and similar instruments.

• Hardware testing experience is preferred; fiber-optic communications or FBG sensing experience is an advantage.

• LabVIEW, Python or equivalent automated test scripting experience is preferred. Familiar with LabVIEW, Python, etc., automated test script development experience is preferred.

• Able to travel for on-site deployment and testing and work effectively with R&D teams.
