Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Deployment: Manage the deployment of Linux systems and applications across various environments; ensure proper configuration and integration.
Patching: Regularly assess and apply security patches and updates to Linux servers; automate patch management processes where possible.
Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and operational procedures; ensure documentation is up to date and accessible.
System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and security; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
Collaboration: Work closely with development and operations teams to improve deployment workflows and system reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
Proficient in Linux system administration (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.).
Strong experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Certifications
Linux Professional Institute Certification (LPIC).
CompTIA Linux+.
