Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of inland and cross-border trucking for base metals, including cobalt and battery materials

Manage shipment scheduling, dispatch, and tracking to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency

Communicate with trucking companies, warehouses, smelters, and terminals to manage pickup and delivery timelines

Ensure accuracy of shipping documentation (bills of lading, packing lists, customs docs, etc.) and alignment with Incoterms and contractual obligations

Support traders and operations teams by proactively resolving transportation delays, freight claims, or cargo discrepancies

Maintain and update internal systems with shipment status, costs, and performance metrics

Collaborate with finance for freight invoice approvals and settlements

Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations during the transportation of hazardous or regulated materials

Work closely with the traffic and trading teams to improve logistics strategies and optimize margins

Requirements:

Higher Diploma or above

2+ years of experience in traffic, trucking coordination, or logistics within the commodities ( metals)

Ability to manage multiple shipments, stakeholders, and systems simultaneously

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics systems

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

Knowledge of warehousing, transloading, and international trade logistics a plus
