Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, HKQAA is a non-profit public organisation dedicated to promoting good management practices to foster the sustainable development of industries and communities. Over the years, we have been committed to driving high-quality and sustainable development. As one of the leading conformity assessment bodies and standard setters in the region, HKQAA actively participates in the development of international, national, regional and industry standards. Through diversified services and forward-looking digital tools, we collaborate with stakeholders to facilitate organisations of all types to apply professional standards, enhance performance, and contribute to consolidating Hong Kong’s strengths while integrating into and supporting overall national development. Approved by the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (CNCA), HKQAA also set up a wholly-owned subsidiary, HKQAA (Shenzhen) Limited (formerly HKQAA Certification (Shanghai) Ltd), and its Shanghai Certification Branch and Guangzhou Branch to provide certification services for businesses in the Chinese Mainland. We also set up a subsidiary in Macau to foster our business development in the region.
