Hong Kong Boys' and Girls' Clubs Association (BGCA), established in Hong Kong since 1936 as an experienced charitable organization, has always been dedicated to providing diversified services to support the all-round development of children and teenagers. With the evolution of times, BGCA continuously adjusts and expands its service scope aiming at more comprehensive responses to societal needs and concerns. Currently, it has grown into a large group with over 50,000 members and 1,000 professional staff, including 400 registered social workers. In addition, through over 140 service points, BGCA provides services to over 190,000 people, including over 70,000 members, making it one of the longest-serving local non-governmental organizations in Hong Kong. The range of services provided by BGCA is extensive, covering preschool education and services, pre-school rehabilitation services, family and child welfare services, school social work, integrated children and youth service centers, youth outreach and community support services, counseling and psychological support services, camp services, among others, catering to the needs of different age groups. Furthermore, the association actively engages in youth employment services, vocational skill training, information and consultation services, and job placement for dropout students and graduates, collaborating with government agencies and relevant departments to develop nurturing services for abandoned children.
