This role is dedicated in the area of Non-IT indirect procurement discipline and to support in various system initiative (Example: P2P and ticketing system) and 3rd party risk management. Some medium to high spend value and risk purchase will be required to support the team. The procurement team will be part of the CFO (Chief Financial Officer) professional family and the position will directly report to the Procurement Manager.
The role aims to demonstrate procurement value whenever possible across the 3 key pillars:
- Commercials and process efficiency
- Market Intelligence
- Risk and Compliance adherence to policy
KEY SCOPE & ACCOUNTABILITIES
a. Projects
- Perform all procurement, pre-qualification, tender, negotiation and contracting activities in the Non-IT category domain including but not limited to Professional Service (i.e. Consulting, legal services, HR), marketing and event services, Travel/ Hotel and other corporate services as assigned
- Conduct financial and contractual negotiations with suppliers
- Maintain and support punch-out and hosted catalogues
b. Support in Procurement Governance
- Lead and support in procurement dashboard development by Power BI, SharePoint and system available in the organization
- Lead the vendor onboarding process and mitigate any potential risks by adopting the AXA’s vendor risk framework whenever applicable.
- Support the procurement revamp by exploring areas for automation and support in socializing the procurement policy to relevant stakeholders
- Compile and extrapolate spend reports from system for data analysis for procurement recommendation
- Ensure principles of value for money, transparency, fairness, efficiency and accountability are evident in key company dealings.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years experiences in procurement sourcing is a must
- Excellent with numbers and data analysis will be a must
- Expertise in SharePoint design, Power BI, O365 and workflow management will be a plus
- Ideally with previous experience in using P2P or system will be an advantage
- University graduate preferred but it is not compulsory requirement
- Sound understanding of legal requirements for tendering, contract management
- Excellent in communication and influencing skills in both English and Cantonese,
- Good time management skills, proactive and with a “can do” spirit
- Excellent negotiation experience and skills
- A good team player, result-oriented, detailed-mind, able to work in fast paced working environment and can work under pressure
