International Biotechnology Exhibition Event Planning Intern
Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and creative intern to join our team as an International Biotechnology Exhibition Event Planning Intern. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in organizing international biotechnology exhibitions, from initial planning to execution. You will work closely with industry experts and international partners to facilitate innovation and exchange in the global biotechnology field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning:
- Assist in planning international biotechnology exhibitions, including theme design, agenda setting, and guest invitations.
- Help draft and edit promotional materials for events, such as exhibition brochures, press releases, and social media content.
- Utilize Canva to design promotional materials, such as posters, banners, and other visuals.
- Participate in budgeting and resource allocation for events.
2. Project Management:
- Track project progress to ensure all preparations are on schedule.
- Coordinate communication with partners, exhibitors, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
- Assist in on-site setup, staff arrangement, and logistical support.
3. Marketing and Promotion:
- Help develop marketing strategies to promote the exhibition through social media, email campaigns, and other channels.
- Assist in managing inquiries and registrations from potential exhibitors and attendees.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Use Python for data analysis and processing, organize data from exhibitors and attendees, and provide data support.
- Assist in evaluating the success of the exhibition, collecting and analyzing feedback from exhibitors and attendees.
- Prepare post-event summary reports and provide recommendations for future events.
Requirements:
1. Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s program. All majors are welcome, but a background in biotechnology, marketing, event management, or international relations is preferred.
2. Language Skills: Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with international guests and exhibitors.
3. Communication and Coordination Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork spirit, able to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
4. Time Management: Excellent time management skills, capable of effectively organizing work in a tight schedule.
5. Technical Skills:
- Experience in data analysis and processing using Python, and other AI tools
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with experience in Photoshop or Canva being a plus.
